Introducing Sahara Santos

Information to follow!

Re-introducing Joshante Amihyia

We have seen Mr Joshante Amihyia before. here is some background information gathered in relation to my investigation of JA Wealth:

Joshante Amihiya is the brains behind JA Wealth (I use the term loosely).

If you want a laugh, read this guff he's written about himself in the third person on LinkedIn (now removed). The

repeated grammatical butchery is his own:

Joshante Amihyia is one of the most exciting young entrepreneurs in the UK, as mentioned by many bloggers and tabloids, and having been spotlighted from a young age. At the age of Twenty, his successes already speak volumes; in only but a few years, he has pursues more of a lifestyle that a career, and the evidence is from his ownership interests in three existing businesses and is actively involved in many others – it’s safe to say he’s come a long way from his playground enterprise schemes. Coming from a large family, the value of hard work was instilled in him from a young age, and it shows. The determination to go above and beyond for success seems to be a driving power- something which is clearly shown in his meteoric rise in the entrepreneurial world. He started as anyone would, with articles and news reports about him in local newspapers. This was followed by a Student of the Year award, with the tabloids describing him as a ‘The next Richard Branson’ – A high praise for anyone. A move from West London to South London was a pivotal point in his life. There were choices that needed to be made, and this was evident to Joshante. He believed out of all the choices, there was only one that really mattered. This choice had two options. Needless to say, he chose the latter and since then he hasn’t looked back. Working in various areas such as retail and banking gave him the knowledge, experience and confidence to eventually set up his own business. From here, the only way is up. He has since been involved in the world of Stock Trading, Working at a private fund gives him the opportunity to become profitable, but he is also involved in another arm of the business, providing support and services for novices and experienced traders alike. He hopes by chasing his dreams, and achieving them, others will acknowledge their own potential and go after it with the same hunger, drive and ambition he does. He’s all about making a difference.

Joshante owns multiple businesses?? Not according to company house! In fact he only owns one - JA Wealth.

UPDATE:

The following screenshot from JA Wealth's Instagram feed seems to confirm that JA Wealth was Joshante's first business venture, and that the biographical material used on the jawealth.co.uk website and his LinkedIn account was untrue. Such lies were obviously made in order to con potential students into believing that Joshante was a successful entrepreneur, and thus induce them into signing up for the sham course.

------------------------------------

How about some evidence of the press acknowledging his achievements, as claimed by his illiterate spiel at the top of this page?

The only evidence I can find is that he copped off with a 16 year old X-factor dropout, and that during the course of their "volatile" 6 month relationship he bought her a rather hideous football encrusted with jewels.

Any evidence of business achievements? erm... nope.

-----------------------------------------

UPDATE: for some reason, since the publishing of this blog, Joshante has thought it necessary to remove some key work experience from his LinkedIn CV. Luckily we have it here for you, rescued from the site's cached pages and preserved for ever:

Why has he now decided to hide his temping work at House of Fraser? And why has he also got rid of the details of his work in sales at Selfridges? Does he feel that such a CV exposes him as having basically zero experience in the financial sector?

I have been informed that one reason Joshante is hiding his time at Selfridges is that he was sacked from his sales job for stealing. Stealing socks. We have still not ascertained if he stole normal socks or Christmas socks, but more news about this will follow shortly!

Further, we have been informed that he is not a University of Greenwich undergraduate as he dropped out within his first year.

Can anybody see evidence above of the kind of financial background and savvy that would convince you to part with 995 quid?

---------------------------------------

UPDATE: Two more lies exposed

If you listen to the first minute of the Jam Rock interview below you will hear Joshante claim that when he was twelve he was made "student of the year across London" and that he was featured "in the Evening Standard".

Joshante also uses the story prominently in his latest "Joshnate Speaks out " video (below).

The introduction is priceless! The famous JA Wealth bull's head appears on a black screen then fades into a stylish, soft-focused black and white shot of Joshante, gently rocking in his chair and gazing with steely eyes (and perhaps the vaguest hint of a smile?) at the framed newspaper cutting which he holds before him.  As the ominous Inception-style soundtrack plays, it seems Joshante is reflecting upon his finest hour, his defining moment, and struggling to comprehend the senseless h8ing that threatens to crush his hopes and dreams, and with it, the hopes and dreams of a generation.

The cutting, with its glorious headline, is displayed prominently throughout the seven and a half minute video, and is mentioned specifically at 5.30.

So what's the truth?

You can see from the screen grab below that the author of the piece was a "Michael Russell". A quick Google of "Michael Russell journalist" reveals that Michael Russell has never worked for the Evening Standard, but is in fact a reporter for the Ealing Gazette and worked at the paper at the time Joshante claims to have won his award. What's more, Ealing run a Pride in our People Award every year, and you can see a reference to such a competition at the bottom of the screen grab.

It turns out that the Ealing student of the year prize is awarded on the basis of a nomination and voting system, and that Joshante was voted by his fellow students as student of the year for running a tuck shop at the school he attended. Congratulations Joshante.

I have no intention of denigrating Ealing's Student of the Year Award, but there are several points to be made:

Firstly, why did Joshante feel the need to lie to his potential customers again? Why does he treat his students with such contempt? And is he that embarrassed by the Ealing Gazette??

I suppose that even Joshante is aware that the little, local competition he won is not exactly on the same level as winning student of the year "across London" and that the Ealing Gazette is not exactly the Evening Standard. Therefore, as usual, he decided to lie - as he lied about JA Wealth being "a private equity firm", as he lied about owning "multiple businesses", as he lied about the course giving you the tools to "earn 200 quid a day minimum", and so on and so on.... When will people stop being so gullible and start wising up to the fact that this guy is a serial liar?

And so there you have it - Joshante Amihyia - the Greenwhich University drop out and self-titled young business leader who has nothing better to frame on his desk than an 8 year old cutting from Ealing's second best newspaper.

Introducing SJ Techsmart

Joshante is now offering another get rich quick scheme! Hold on to your hats everybody because SJ Tech Smart is here!

Not only has Joshante upgraded his secretary...

Goodbye Elenia...

Hello Sahara!

...but he is also offering us the chance to make over 100 quid every day through some wizardry involving Google AdSense! That's right - sign up to SJ Tech Smart's vaguely defined services and you too could be earning daily income without doing any work!

Ok... so where does it all start to go wrong?

Firstly, we being to smell something a little ratty immediately upon opening the home page.

This is a company that, amongst other things, claim to offer a service that helps you create "attractive" and "professional websites". Now take a look at their own effort:

Lovely clip art guys! Retro is so  on trend! Not sure about the garbled English and the weird blue highlighting though...

Beautifully written material! Oozes professionalism! And I just love the graphic!

Elegant logo, guys! Did you knock it up on MS Paint?

But the real fun starts when we realise that Joshante has just ripped almost all his material off another website!

Lets compare the SJ Tech Smart home page with www.mbtcreations.com

Apart from somehow contriving to design worse graphics, large swathes of the SJ Tech Smart website are identical to the MBT site!

And what about MBT's reputation as a company?

Apparently they do not have a great reputation. Read some reviews here: http://www.businessadviceforum.com/showthread.php/50491-IS-MBT-Creation-a-Scam

Are MBT and SJ Tech Smart linked? Or has Joshante just ripped off the idea without permission? I would guess he has just stolen the idea without permission: The SJ website is registered under "Amihyia" whereas the MBT website is blocked behind a "privacy protection service" - a common device used by scammers. See these www.easywhois.com report screenshots:

UPDATE: the owner of MBTcreations, Tarun Goel, has written to me to state that he was not working with Joshante Amihyia. He asserts that Joshante took the content of the MBT website without authorisation and has requested that Joshante take SJTechsmart down. www.sjtechsmart.couk does seem to have been taken down.

Not only did Joshante steal the content of MBT's website, but it seems they also stole their "proofs" of profits.

Here are two "proofs of profits" - one is from MBT, and the other is Joshante's forgery. You can see how Joshante has rammed a "SJ Tech Smart" logo on it, and passed it off as his own!

You can contact MBT yourself via Twitter: @MBTcreations
